1. Who is welcome in the Stanford College Republicans?
     The Stanford College Republicans are a broad-based coallition of conservative, moderate, libertarian, moderate, and liberal Republicans.  All members and non-members from both on and off campus are encouraged to attend our events and speeches.  We encourage people to bring friends interested in politics from anywhere on the political spectrum.

2. How do I get involved in the Stanford College Republicans?
     We always welcome new members. Please email any member of the Executive Board to find out how you can get involved in the club. If you're interested in a leadership position, please talk to Megan Reiss.

3. Where and When do the Stanford College Republicans meet?
     Our meeting times and location vary, so be sure to check Upcoming Events. The calendar is updated often.  eMails will also be sent to our mailing list.

4. How do I get on the mailing list?
     i) send an email to majordomo@lists.stanford.edu, doing the following:
    ii) type “subscribe stanfordrepublicans” in the body of the email, and send.
   iii) if you would like to join our discussion list, you can add “subscribe republicans-chat” in the
       next line of the email and then send.

5. What do you do?
     The SCR organization brings speakers to campus to discuss politics throughout the year.  We also sponsor teach-ins, run voter registration drives, and encourage political participation on campus and in the community.

6. How can I get involved in Republican Politics?
     Write a letter to the editor of The Stanford Daily, or write to your member of Congress.  Speak out about your views and encourage debate in the dining hall, dorm, or classroom.  Come to SCR meetings and find out how to get involved in local, state, or national campaigns.

7. How can I learn more about Republicanism / Conservatism / Libertarianism?
     The Executive Board has compiled a list of their favorite books and TV shows - the best that has been written and said - about politics.  Check them out and see what we believe.
